slowwmo CIC values of your privacy and will therefore only use your data to process your orders and (with your permission) to promote activities that we sponsor and to market our sellers’ products and services. We do so in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not sell mailing lists to, nor do we divulge any of your personal data to, third parties.

When you register at slowwmo CIC we collect information such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, and contact details. We then keep this information on our server for an appropriate length of time. All payments are processed through reputable, secure payment gateways such as with PayPal and Stripe, so we do not use or store any credit or debit card information on our server.

In handling your data, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulations. Our website uses an SSL certificate using SHA-256 with RSA Encryption to encrypt data between our website server, which is at a United Kingdom based data centre, and the user. We keep our website up to date with the latest WordPress software and plugins, and these are maintained on a regular basis by our developers to ensure that your data is as secure as possible.

We share:

  • customer and order data with our sellers so that we can fulfil orders as their agent
  • customer and payment data with our payment processors, currently PayPal and Stripe, and after processing a transaction, we do not store payment data on our server
If you provide us with permission to do so, then we may use your personal contact details to promote activities that we sponsor and to market our sellers’ products and services.

While data is held on our server at the data centre, we do not share the data with this service provider. We take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorised destruction of personal data
